Our Story
When enjoying meals with family and friends in Italy, our passion for food and wine truly comes alive. Our fondness for the Italian lifestyle inspired us to bring that same sense of “la dolce vita” back home, and what better way than with limoncello! After all, shouldn't true limoncello come from Italy?
Our journey to create the perfect limoncello began. After countless trips, we discovered the best limoncello was made on the sun-drenched Sorrento peninsula in Southern Italy. With the help of our friends, we found the finest lemon groves in Sorrento exclusively growing organic lemons, designated as “IGP” Femminello.
The next step was to find a producer willing to help bring our vision to life. Tucked away in a little village, was a family-run distillery dedicated to quality. Here the artisans create small batch, handmade limoncello in the true authentic and traditional style. Together we crafted what is believed to be the perfect limoncello.
Now, Lunello brings you the singular taste of Sorrento Limoncello… the way it should be!
